I’m Le’Chelle and I’m in my late twenties (how did that happen?) living in Cape Town with my wonderful & hilarious Husband, also known as LéHusband. In 2011 I started this blog as a way to express my creativity, share beautiful things I saw online and as a sort of digital scrapbook, because the physical kind involved way too much cutting and pasting for my liking.

It has since developed into my safe space to talk about life, grief, body image, sustainability, style, beauty , minimalism and pretty much anything I’m interested in chatting about. I’m not the most eloquent writer but what you’ll read is basically how I speak in everyday life and I very much doubt you’ll have to google any big words. After all these years, this blog, at its core is still an expression of my creativity, the inner workings of my mind and hopefully a helpful resource to you.

When I’m not creating content I can be found sipping coffee, wine or a G&T (depending on the time of day), coaxing my indoor plants to sprout new baby leaves, exploring my city, not having much of a verbal filter, taking nature walks, obsessing over beauty products and ugly-laughing at Sean (LéHusband).

I’m big on empowering women to see, embrace and step into their natural beauty, inside and out. It’s still kind of crazy to say but this passion project has turned into my full-time job as a digital content creator and that’s all down to your wonderful support today and over the years, so THANK YOU!

YouTube & I have taken an unintentional break (we will reunite soon, I promise!) but I have tons of vlogs, beauty, fashion and lifestyle content there too. Check it out here, if you’d like to.

Here we’re always honest, authentic, open and fun. It’s lovely to have you – tell me a bit about yourself in the comments so this can be more of conversation rather than monologue.

I have only recently stumbled across your blog, so naturally I’ve been stalking your site and watching a million of your tutorials and vids. I really love them! I feel like I can relate to you a lot, I live in CT and I have fair skin, introvert etc. (I think you get the jist :))

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on products on your beautiful blog!
I especially love the drugstore and affordable make up write ups.

I’ll be following what you do from now on.

Regards
Niecole

I have been a somewhat passive fan for a few years, and I’m writing just to thank you for staying true to who you are and ensuring you keep your South Africa-ness in tact!!!

Haaaay darling!

Well here is an option to drop down a comment so why the fudge not.

I was passively checking out your videos in 2016 and I came across your channel by searching for South African Youtubers. I do not particularly have an obsession for beauty however I enjoy your chats diys tags and get ready with me vidz (occasional vlogs)

As many of us yearn for a dose of inspiration I never felt closer to you than your recent videos for 2017.

I might have mentioned the fact that you have become more vocal and have embrace the honest bits of your vision in going forward, certainly captured me as a viewer.

I am hands up a devoted follower and a sucker for all things intentional regarding empowerment for yourself and others.

The recent woman’s march reminded me of your youtube chatty Aspirations for 2017,where you mentioned how you would like to evolve your platform into a more community based setting.

The world does need more girls like you and therefore I will salute you every step of the way . Continue your Girl Boss Missions xoxo
