I follow many international blogs & love them, there is just something different about local blogs, I don’t know whether it is because you feel like you can relate to them more, even just based on the fact that you have been to the coffee shop or you can actually purchase that dress you see them in.
Well if you are even remotely interested in blogging it an avid blogger, you should read this. Even if just to put these bloggers on your radar.
Here goes, here are my 10 favourite local bloggers, in no particular order:
Talya Goldberg from Shades of Gold
I love seeing all the events Talya attends and I love her business minded approach to blogging. She is a real inspiration for me.
Raya Rossi from The Visual Journal
One of my most favourite fashion bloggers, I love, LOVE her style. Its interesting and unique, kind of the way I would expect her to be, if I knew her.
Melissa Louise from Melissa Louise Lifestyle
The thing I love most about this blog is her ‘Last weeks discovered links’ posts. I am always inspired by the sites and items she shares in these posts.
Amy Scheepers from Fantsypants
This blog is the epitome of photography and fashion falling in love. And believe me, you will do exactly that, fall in love with her style and the photographs.
Emma-Jane Nation
This is my perfect idea of a lifestyle blog, when you read her blog you kind of feel like you’re actually involved in the activity/event. And isn’t that the exact idea of a lifestyle blog. Emma has done lifestyle blogging right.
Angie from Lucky Pony
I find her style of writing fun and different. Her personality comes through perfectly in her writing. Angie has a knack for finding the most underground and unique artists, the kind of work you don’t see everywhere and you wish you were some major art collected and could just snatch them all up.
Diana from Miss Moss
You can always count on Diana to be on top of ally he international trends and season line releases of many top designers. Which make for great fashion forecasts for us locally. Prepare to see far too many beautiful things all at once, that make you want to marry rich and not for love.
Emma from My Life in Pink
Although it sounds like every outfit post will be overwhelmed by pink, much to my relief they are not. Emma’s fashion posts are striking and look almost as though you are looking at magazine editorials.
Sergio from What My Boyfriend Wore
Even without a boyfriend you can appreciate this blog. I love fashion, whether it be male, female, or a cross between male and female. I would like a boyfriend to dress up like all the men in these pictures though.
Kim from Kim Grey
I haven’t been reading Kim’s blog for that long, but the short time that I have, she’s got me pining over far too many delicious decor items, that secretly need to make their way into my home, without me having to buy them. Who can make this happen? Any takers?
Please let me know found any of these blogs interesting or if you have any blogs you think I should know.
