The Creamery : REVIEW

April 13, 2014

DSC_0154 DSC_0159   If you don’t know me and if you don’t work at The Creamery (Dean Street, Newlands) then you won’t know that, I LOVE them, I’m thinking, ‘well that’s an understatement’. Let me start with this, if you don’t know The Creamery, they make mouth watering handmade ice cream.  In my opinion, it is the best ice cream I have tasted, well, ever.  If you find yourself on a beautifully and unbearably hot day in Cape Town, pop on over to The Creamery and the ice cream will make you feel like life is complete once more.  Subsequently for us, serious fans, and the regular ones, their menu adapts to the colder, lip quivering Cape Town days.  Hello waffles with chocolate sauce… Basically what I’m getting at is, there is always an excuse for a trip to The Creamery.  Their flavours change daily and they have some special flavours for different seasons/holidays, such as a hot cross bun flavour.  HAVE YOU EVER? Clearly, for Easter time. I would suggest trying the toasted coconut, 65% dark chocolate and Rosetta coffee – they’re a few of my favourites. I would recommend this sweet spot to everybody and their hipster grandmother.   Pop me a comment if you’ve been or if you go. Le’Chelle

Cari, thats awesome, if you’re having a bad day you could just pop over for a pick-me-up ice cream!
