Let’s all just take a moment for this beauty… First off the packaging is amazingly simple and elegant, and well the scent…. that is something else!
This may be quite rude because you can’t actually smell the fragrance but I just have to share this. A few weeks ago I plucked up the courage to walk inside the JoMalone store at the Waterfront and the reason I hadn’t gone before is because I knew that once I started smelling the candles and fragrances I would just start throwing my money at the shop assistant. And by money I mean coins!
LéBoyfriend however had different plans and boy is he a goodie! Unfortunately I think you know what’s coming next, he reached into his pocket and whipped out that gold card! I think he half felt bad that I was smelling all the candles and deep-sighing at the beauty & half that he wanted to get out of the store! I’m kidding, he 100% bought it because he loves me and is a winner at life!
Back to the fragrance, it’s the Wood, Sage & Seasalt and when you ink about it that doesn’t stir up and amazing feelings, but when you smell it… OH MY GOODNESS!!!! That is something else, it’s musky but not in that burn-your-nose way! Please just do yourself a favour and give yourself a good 30 minutes to appreciate all the scents in Jo Malone!
Ps, they now have a fragrance bar where you can work with a shop assistant to create tour perfect combination of smells, does it get any better than that??
What are your favourite Jo Malone scents? And are there any other fragrances that I should have a sniff at?
