This, friends is the greatest place, it really is lovely, one for the books in-fact. I said in this post, that I would put up a review about Babylonstoren and here it is. YAY!
Last year we spent the day at Babylonstoren for my birthday, and have been wanting to go back since then, and amidst the chaos of last week, we took some time out to be amongst this beauty. I absolutely love the gardens, walking through them, with the lovely citrus smell and exquisite view.
The Greenhouse is my favourite, they serve lovely herbal tea’s (you can simply pick off some of the lovely leaves and flowers and pop them in your teapot), fun cakes (the cheesecake is delicious – only available in season though), salads, and light lunches. It’s the most relaxing atmosphere, sitting in the Greenhouse. I’d love to just take a book and sit there for a full day, just reading! Their salads consist of only fruit and veg grown in the gardens, so they’re always different and fresh. The herb pesto is to die for – you have to try it. Their yellow pressed juice is amaze!
This place brings me such happiness.
Please let me know if you go and what you think of it.
