Davines Hair Products

If you have hair like mine (curly hair with tiny little new hairs all over my head which look like frizz) then this post will help you, if not I would say Google “Davines”, see the packaging and tell me you don’t want to buy their products.  And truth be told, don’t tell LéBoyfriend, the packaging was the main sell for me, because let’s face it, most hair are products are all claiming to do the same thing.  We all hope that one day we’ll find that one product that gives us Mermaid hair, instantly gifting us with Arial-like hair as we step out of the shower.

I’m still on the lookout for this miracle product & on my search I picked up these Davines products, and only because they were 20% off.  At their regular price of R240 for the shampoo & R235 for the conditioner that’s a good R500 on hair products every month or so.

I picked up the Detoxifying Shampoo because I have a weird scalp issue, and they only use natural ingredients to make their products. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the way my scalp had reacted, I don’t have to wash my hair as often & I don’t feel any odd bumps.  On the con side, it has a scrub texture which makes it quite hard to lather up.

I only have good brings to do about he conditioner, it makes my hair feel soft but not oily/greasy soft & there’s no residue eft on my hair after I rinse it out. I also don’t need to add any extra product when I get out of the shower, to tame the frizz/new hairs.  As any curly-haired girl knows, you have to wash your hair at night, sleep and it will be perfect int he morning.  You can buy any Davines products at Carlton salons.

I love these products & what they do for my hair but hate the price tag. Do you have any suggestions for something similar & cheaper?

What hair products do you use?
