Though I only bought this toward the end of winter I can firmly say that it is my favourite purchase for winter and an absolute must have! This is the Nuxe Rêve De Miel lip balm which is the creamiest, most nourishing balm I’ve used yet. Over the years I have tried very many lip balms, lip creams, etc and each of them seem good to begin with but god-for-bid I leave it at home for a day and my lips look like I’ve been walking through the desert for 40 days.
I’m not sure if it’s because I have quite large lips, (maybe not large, just bigger than the average person) they get horribly dry really easily. This product has been such a big help with that – I use it at night along with my regular skincare routine. By the morning may lips feel plump, not dry at all and the top layer of skin almost peels right off. It sounds odd but it’s great for someone like me that looks almost nervous, but really I’m just biting and pulling at my dry lips (not a pretty sight!).
I’ve recommended this to my sister and she loves it too. She tried their mask and swears by that too, so I’ll have to give that a go and give you a review. This retails for R150 at selected Truworths stores, and is worth every cent. Plus the packaging, really lovely heavy frosted glass makes it feel and look quite luxe.
All in all my favourite purchase for winter!
