Clinique Moisture Surge Range – The Key To Glowing Skin

It’s no secret that my lazy girl approach to good makeup is great skincare.  In my opinion, the one thing that makes a difference to makeup is skincare.  You can’t fake good skin – you can cover up and wear the highest coverage but that doesn’t make your skin any better.  I’ve found a skincare range that gives me beautifully glowing skin, even in winter.

You guys know that my everyday makeup consist of glowing skin, a little bit of concealer, mascara, tinted brow gel & cream highlighter.  This look would be highly average and mostly impossible without glowing healthy skin.  So I thought I’d share what I’ve been using for the last month.  I spoke about this in my Day In The Life video that went live a few weeks ago.  I use these products along with the Skin Ceuticals serums that I spoke about in last weeks post.

Clinique Moisture Surge - The Key to Glowing Skin

Before we go any further I thought I’d mention that this post is not sponsored but I do have a code you guys can use if you buy any moisturisers on the Clinique online store, which will give you three deluxe samples.  If you use the code SHOPLECHELLE you get a deluxe samples of the Clinique Foaming Facial Soap, All About Eyes eye cream & Take The Day Off for Lids, Lashes & Lips.  The promo code lasts till 31 August so go ahead and treat yo’self!!

Clinique Moisture Surge Face Mist - the key to glowing skin

Clinique Moisture Surge Face Mist (R395.00):  I love a good face mist! It refreshes your skin, helps to prep for makeup and  can be a great refresher on warm Summer days (we haven’t seen many of those recently but it will come in handy soon).  Don’t get me wrong a face mist sends one hell of a jolt to your senses early in the morning or on cold evenings but I suck it up for the benefits.  On the few warm days we’ve had this winter I sprayed this over makeup to refresh my skin and keep things looking good.

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief - the key to glowing skin

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (R435.00):  This is beautifully lightweight so it sinks in really quickly and somehow still leaves my skin feeling hydrated the whole day.  I usually develop dry patches on the tops of my cheeks during winter and those just haven’t come this year and I’ll say my thanks to this product for that.  I use this morning & evening after one of the Skin Ceuticals serums.  I feel like these products have done a great job of changing my skins texture – it feels softer and less tight post cleansing routine.

Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask - the key to glowing skin

Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask (R495.00):  I’ve been lusting over this mask for wee over a year and let me tell you it’s worth the lust, now turned love.  I use this atleast 3-4 times a week (you guys know I love a good mask sesh), instead of my regular evening routine.  If you’re not like me (high maintenance) and only do masks for necessity you’ll love this one because you simply pop it on before you go to bed & it does all the work while you sleep.  I love the glow my skin has the morning after using this mask, even after cleansing it still looks and feels amazing.

If your skincare isn’t doing quite what it used to and you’re needing a bit of change check out the Clinique site, they have a huge selection of products for every skin type and concern.  Also all their products are oil and fragrance free which is great for those of you with sensitive skin.  Remember to use my code SHOPLECHELLE.

Let me know if you end up getting anything from their site.
