This is easily my favourite spot in Cape Town.  Not just for the beautiful gardens, idyllic landscapes and these giant cacti, but for the lovely greenhouse.  It inspires me to go home and plant up a storm, I’d very much like to cover every surface in our home with plants- mainly succulents, delicious monsters and cacti, but I’m sure the girls would have something to say about it.

One of my favourites, Meeka, organised a fun surprise little day trip for us last week.  We had fun road tripping to Stellenbosch, eating chocolate and singing along to John Mayer.  All the while me knowing nothing about where we were heading – she read my blog and saw that I had completed three out of four on my to do list and being the dear that she is she made sure we completed the list!

Also, if you haven’t been to Babylonstoren you need to get your delayed butt over there.  It’s well worth it!

Babylonstoren review on the blog this week.
