Monday Pamper Night Routine

Monday Pamper Night Routine

I like to at least have one pamper night per week, and usually that’s a Monday night.  It just allows me to relax and have a few minutes or maybe even an hour to relax and regroup.  This could mean something as simple as repainting my nails or a nice soak in the bath with a lovely LUSH bath bomb, other days it could be the whole shebang.

I start by removing my makeup with the Gatineau eye makeup remover, followed by the Clarins 3 Step Exfoliating Cleanser.  I usually feel a bit cleaner once my makeup has been removed so then I like to sit down and edit a video or work on a few blog posts.  Something to take my mind off my day and do something I enjoy.

While I work I get some nail painting on the go and once its dry and I feel like I’ve done enough work, which is probably around 10/11PM, I run a bath, pop a LUSH bath bomb in it & light a few candles.  While the bath fills I apply the LUSH Mask of Magnaminty on my face and neck.

When that’s drying I use the LUSH Rub Rub Rub body scrub on specific areas, like my legs and elbows.  I like to have a bit more of a rough scrub on my problem area legs, but you can use the scrub in the shower for a more gentle scrub.  I then rinse off the mask and jump in the bath, press play on the YouTube playlist of beauty hauls/tutorials/what’s in my bag video’s while I soak in the bath.

Once the playlist has ended or I get too hot – whichever comes first, I jump out of the bath, get dry & apply the Lipidol After Shower Oil to my body, and put on my pajamas hop into bed.  I like to do my serum’s and face creams in bed while I’m working, it makes me feel more productive.  Right now I’m using the Clarins Multi-Active Renewal serum as well as the Clarins Multi-Active Night Cream.

As much as I’d like to say, ‘I then turn off the light and drift off into a beautiful slumber’ – I don’t! I carry on editing/doing blog posts.  I usually only close my laptop when I’m too tired to form proper sentences or my eyes are closing involuntarily.

Last step, at some point the next day, I’ll do my top coat with the Sally Hansen because if my nails do get ruined while I’m sleeping, the top coat glides perfectly over it and no ones the wiser.

I usually call putting lotion on my body a pamper routine.
However, you have just motivated me to do more. Thank you.
All this looks amazing. So much to try out.

LOVE this post! I usually do my weekly pamper session on a Sunday or Monday evening… sometimes both! Need to try the Rub Rub Rub scrub – I’m also a hug fan of a rough exfoliator on my body. (PS: Your photos are absolutely stunning!)
