Recently I’ve been having a bit of a moment with drugstore products. This has purely been as a result of you guys commenting on videos and posts asking for more drugstore options. Which has set me on a mission to find more affordable products that don’t skip on quality.
I’ve heard a few ramblings in the blogosphere about the Catrice Camouflage Cream being a good dupe for the Bobbi Brown Correctors. Obviously knowing my love for the Bobbi Brown Correctors I was initially suspicious but I had to pick one up, just to try. While I was browsing the Catrice stand in Dischem (they’re the only store that stock Catrice) I spotted a few other things that caught my attention. So I thought I’d show you what I bought and give you a little review.
Catrice Cosmetics Liquid Camouflage Concealer (R60) : I tried this under my eyes but found that it was just that little bit too dark. However it works wonderfully as a regular blemish concealer. It packs a damn good punch at covering those red around the edge ones and I specifically love this because I can wear it without foundation – it’s that good a match for my skin.
Catrice Cosmetics Re-Touch Light-Reflecting Concealer (R70) : I’ve never used a product like this, and I have no idea why. I love this! As far as the light-reflecting claims go, they are all true and it also has a medium coverage, so really what more could you ask for? During the holidays, on the odd occasion when I wore makeup, this and the Camouflage Cream were the two products I reached for the most. I think I may need to buy backups of this – that’s how much I love it!
Catrice Cosmetics Camouflage Cream (R53) : I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do, I almost went in with a ‘nothing can beat my Bobbi Brown Corrector’ attitude. The formulation of this one is considerably less creamy than the Bobbi Brown Corrector, which I actually like. It works as a colour corrector for underneath your eyes – for those dark bags that you can’t seem to shake.
If you’re on the market for a new concealer I’d say save your bank account the blow and try out a few Catrice Concealers. They’re are of great quality and are comparable to many high-end alternatives, but obviously with a much better price tag.
My only gripe about Catrice is that their shade range is dismal.
Have you tried any of their products and which are your favourites?

I LOVE Catrice concealers – incredible quality for the affordable price. xo
I like the Catrice liquid camouflage concealer, haven’t tried the cream one but I think I should. I always thought it would be too thick and “drying”
I also received the light reflecting 1 in a press pack and used it like once, need to dig it out and get into it to see if it works for me
