Monday Morning Makeup

Monday always seems to be a late morning, no matter how many alarms I set, I still seem to NEED to spend more time in bed, amping myself up to get ready for work. Am I the only one?

My makeup routine takes the back seat in the love of extra sleep every Monday Morning, Because I know this, I’ve perfect the ultra minimalist makeup look, which I call my Monday face. It covers up the essentials (undereye bags & blemishes) and enhances the good bits.

If you’re thinking of try to get this look, I used the following products:

– Clarins Beauty Flash Balm for rich girl looking skin.
– Maybelline Anti-Age Eraser Eye to sort out the permanent dark circles under my eyes.
– Wet’nWild Cover All Concealer for the pimply bits.
– Clarins HydroQuench Tinted Moisturizer in 01 Sand for a light cover, just to make everything look like “I woke up like this”.
– MAC Brow Pencil in Lingering + MAC eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown for my usual brow routine.
– a slight bit of Laura Mercier blush in Peach Whisper to give the illusion of a natural happy blush.
– MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork over my lid with a bit more in the crease, simply applied with my fingers, quick & easy.
– Curl my lashes with my Forever 21 eyelash curlers.
Do a good coating of Maybelline The Rocket Mascara to open up my eyes and voila!

It sounds long as I’m typing this, but it can take me 5 minutes to do!
