Local South African Skincare Brands

Local South African Skincare Brands

I’ve been working on for a long while now and it’s also something I feel pretty strongly about.  This is a feature you’ll be seeing on LéBlog over the course of this week and I’d like to keep posting about cool new brands that I find in the future.  Enough introductions, lets get into it.

It’s no secret that I love skincare, but even more than that I love local skincare.  By local I mean manufactured in South Africa, where I live – just incase you’re not aware 😉

I’m by no means saying that all international skincare brands are crap, I’m saying that we (South African’s) should be trying to promote amazing skincare brands from South Africa.  I for one, am extremely proud of the level of excellence most South African skincare brands strive for.  The packaging and branding is one thing I always swoon over & most S.A brands have my stamp of approval for that.  More than that, the products are made with lovely natural ingredients that make me want to lather my face in serums and creams 24/7.

So this week I’ll be posting about a few local skincare brands that I’ve been testing out recently and mini reviews on each product.  At the end of January I’ll post a skincare routine video – I haven’t decided whether I’ll make one morning & another evening routine video or just one.  Let me know if you’d like to see two shorter videos or one longish video with morning & evening routine.

Basically to wrap this up, we have some amazing local brands that definitely don’t get enough recognition for their products.  Let’s support local, because let’s be honest, it’s lekker (nice).

Tomorrow I’ll introduce you to Bare Naturals.
