About a month ago I got a very exciting email inviting me to the MAC Autumn Winter Trend Talk. As I read it I told myself, “Ok breathe Le’Chelle”. If you’ve been a regular reader and viewer of my blog posts and videos you should already know the love I have for this brand. So you can imagine the excitement, or at least I hope you can.
If you follow me on Snapchat you would have been front seat to my excitement and the event itself. Hard sell: If you’re not following me on Snapchat you really missed out! Kidding, but follow me. Anyway at the event they demonstrated a few upcoming trends, they fed us and I got to meet a few bloggers I know (read: follow online) which is always nice. But the real fun was the makeup.
You may be thinking “we’ve only just going into Summer” but for print publications they have to do everything quite far in advance which means A/W talks happen in Summer. I’m not complaining though because I love makeup and the trend don’t need to be confined to Autumn, Winter because that’s just too far away. Ps, I’m the girls that wears the new clothing the day I get it.
I’m not going to get into everything they showed us because I have a blog post and video planned for that but to tide you over here’s a look at the bits we received – they’ll be making regular appearances on LéBlog & Youtube channel.
- MAC Chilli Lipstick – a beautiful browny, red matte lipstick which makes my heart beat a bit faster.
- MAC 196 foundation brush – super dense and blends foundation like a dream.
- MAC Mineralize eyeshadows in Golden Hours – a quad with brows, neutrals and golds.
- MAC In Dimension Mascara – this is great for serious volume and natural tips.
- MAC Feline Khol Pencil – super creamy and bendable with amazing pigment.
- MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick in High Drama – haven’t tried it yet but I love a good vampie lip.
