If ever there was a mascara cult following in the beauty blogger community it’s this! Yup, it’s the Maybelline Lash Sensational! I mean beauty bloggers do tend to be a bit flip-floppy (I can say that about myself at times), loving a product this week and shunning it the next. But this seems to have held up particularly well and after using it I see why. The hype is real for a reason friends!
I am definitely one to buy beauty products upon recommendation of my favourite beauty bloggers and vloggers. So obviously after many UK beauty vloggers mentioned it LAST year I was overly excited when Maybelline announced that it would be coming to SA last month. *races to Clicks*
I won’t bore you with bits about the shape, size and bristles of the wand but rather I’ll skip to the bit you actually want to know. Does it work? This packs a good punch in the length department and a surprising about of volume too! I have the shortest baby lashes so when I have people commenting on the length of my lashes I know my mascara is doing it’s job well. *runs out to buy more*
Let me just say if you’re in the market for a new mascara or you’re a makeup lover like me, add this babe to your basket, and be quick about it!

Thanks for this mascara review. I was planning on getting/trying a new mascara for Spring and this was a good affordable buy. I do find it to be quite amazing for my ‘average’ lashes, and the combination of smaller bristles to coat and longer bristles to define and separate make them look full, lush and fanned out!

If you’re looking for a new mascara I would definitely suggest this one! I have baby little lashes and this does wanders for them!
I would be surpassed if you didn’t love it. Ps, a trick with Maybelline mascara’s is to wave the wand around a few times before using the mascara’s because I generally find that they’re very wet when you first use them and then they transfer.

I’m loving the Max factor “Masterpiece transform” mascara! It gives that gorgeous bambi-look that girls with bigger eyes like to achieve (myself included).
I’m so keen to try this mascara from Maybelline though – heard nothing but great things!
