Sometimes after a big night, a big greasy breakfast is just necessary, but after the obligatory ‘work-out more’ resolution I couldn’t bring myself to fry up some delicious eggs & bacon, so I pulled some fruits & veggies out of the fridge and chuck them in the blender, quick & easy. Here it is, my everything in the fridge breakfast smoothie.
BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE
Ingredients:
– Handful of blueberries
– Handful of raspberries
– Handful of carrots
– 1 banana
– 1 apple
– 1tsp of peanut butter (optional)
– 1 cup of water
– 1tsp of honey
– 3tbsp of yoghurt
Method:
Toss everything in the blender and blend away. You can get three small glasses out of this mix, which is great for yourself & the boyfriend the night after the big night. And this is especially good for the New Years resolutions, but because I still love chocolate I had a slice of brown toast with Nutella. Also because we all know a little fibre is needed in the morning.
