Quick Beauty Product Review: MAC, Stila & Bobbi Brown

Stila Eyes Are The Window Mind Palette (R490) – This has been my go-to palette for the last few weeks.  I love this collection of all matte cool and warm toned eyeshadows that blend like a dream.

I can do a simple one colour in the crease look with this or a full on smokey eye – it’s extremely versatile.  It starts with a beautifully creamy white shadow and end with a jet black so this palette will work for the lightest of light people to the darkest skin tones.  If you want to see swatches I’ve written another post about this palette, read it here.  Trust me, it’s amazing!  You can buy Stila at Woolworths.

Lash Sensational mascara review

MAC Extended Play Mascara (R220) – Oh yeah this mascara is amazing!  It’s the first mascara I’ve had that works perfectly for the lower lashes and doesn’t transfer at all.   You read correctly, not. at. all.  The skinny wand with close spirals (not sure how else to describe it) works for people like me with the shortest of short lashes.  I’ve tried this on my top lashes at it’s fine for if I have no other option or great for layering but it doesn’t give the volume and length I expect from an upper lash mascara BUT it’s a must for the lower lashes.

bobbi brown face mist review

Bobbi Brown Face Mist (R350) – Lets start with the fact that this has chamomile, green tea & cucumber extract – does that not sound like a facial in a bottle?  This is great on bare skin to add some moisture for after makeup to set it, add moisture and the perfect amount of glow.  You guys know I’m into glowing skin and this is the perfect addition to my face routine.  You can buy Bobbi Brown online or in Edgars stores.
