Eau Thermale Avène XeraCalm A.D & Cicalfate Range

Eau Thermale Avène has been a consistent favourite on the blog & in my skincare routine for years. I love trying out their new releases because I know their products are made for sensitive skin and don’t contain any irritants. Recently they sent over the XeraCalm A.D & Cicalfate range. They kindly asked me to test their new releases to see if they soothes my severely-dry skin. I’m excited to be testing out 5 new body products and documenting the process on my Instagram over the next month.

My friend Hayley (you’ve seen her in vlogs & on my Instagram) has 6 month old twin girls and the best 4 year old princess I know! Well, one of her sweet babies has been suffering with extremely dry skin including dry patches on her back & arms. Hayley said they’ve tried everything from organic products to cortisone creams and nothings really stuck – it seems to get better and then it comes back with a vengeance. So I’ve given them the XeraCalm A.D & Cicalfate products to try out on Rosies skin.

So over the next month I’ll be updating you guys on my Instagram about the progress of mine & Rosies skin along with before and after pictures. This range is for the entire family, therefore it’s completely fragrance free, there are no harsh ingredients and they’ve been specifically formulated for sensitive & atopic skins.

Comment down below if you have extremely dry or eczema prone skin – it’ll be good to know how many of you suffer with the same skin issues that I do.

PRODUCTS I’M TESTING:

Eau Thermale Avène XeraCalm A.D Cleansing Oil (R249.95) – Nourishes and restores the skin and strengthens the protective hydrolipidic film (natural skin barrier) & leaves skin soft, comfortable and silky smooth – does not sting the eyes. Soap free. Can be used during flare-ups.

Eau Thermale Avène XeraCalm Ultra Rich Bar (R99.95) – Gently cleanses while protecting against the drying effects
of water. Helps maintain healthy skin balance.

Eau Thermale Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid Replenishing Balm (from R299.95) – A patented 100% sterile nourishing balm formulated to
replenish the skin’s protective barrier and relieve itching.

Eau Thermale Avène Thermal Spring Water (from R159.95) – More than just a water, Avène Thermal Spring Water is the active ingredient from which ALL our products draw their restoring efficacy. I wrote an entire blog post detailing all the uses for this mist.

Eau Thermale Avène Cicalfate Repair Cream (R199.95) – Repairs, purifies, and soothes irritated skin more rapidly. For use on dry lesions.

If you or your kids have sensitive, eczema prone skin you’ll want to keep a close eye on my Instagram over the next four weeks to see if these products could help you. P.S. If you want to see an amazing before & after of a kid that suffers with eczema check out this video.

Eau Thermale Avène can be found on Dermastore, Clicks & Dischem.
