The Body Shop Chamomile Cleansing range & Clay Mask

I spoke about these products in my January Favourites, which you can rad about here.  And I’ve been wanting to do a full on blog post just for these products.  They have been so great and definitely worth it!  Both products that I would usually steer very clear of but I really do love them.

Let me start by saying I have normal-oily skin, oily in the t-zone, normal everywhere else, but in winter I get quite dry.  Since I am oily I would usually not go for oil based products but after seeing many videos and rave reviews about these I thought I’d give them a go.

I use those big face cotton pads, wet the one half, not soaked, just a few drops and then do two/three pumps of the Silky Cleansing Oil and wipe my entire face with it.  For the other side of the cotton pad I hold it over my eyes one at s time for a few seconds and then do a few wipes and all my eye make is gone.  I’m talking waterproof mascara that could live on your lashes for a few days, off in a few seconds.

Once I’ve removed the bulk of my makeup with the oil cleanser I go in with the Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, on dry finger tips and massage it into my fac, eyes and neck.  This takes off whatever makeup is still left on my face.  I warm up my flannel cloth with some hot water, wring it out and hold it over my face, I don’t know why I like this, I just do.  Do a few wipes of the face and then repeat with the cleansing butter to actually clean my face instead of remove makeup.

Both of these are well worth trying, even if you have oily skin, give it a try!  Also, The Body Shop is always having some kind of sale for 3 for 2 or 20% off.  So wait for one of their sales and then buy these.
