What’s in my Club Clutch

What’s in my Club Clutch

I thought this would be kind of cool to show you because its weird but in a small part we all want to take a sneak peek into other people’s lives.  And what better way than to take a look through another womans handbag.  I mean we were all taught that scratching through our mothers or anyone elses handbag was just off-limits.  To quote Gretchen Wieners ” that’s just like the rules of feminism!”.  Well it’s not snooping gif somebody invited you to have a look into their handbag, right? Right!

I’ve filmed two ‘What’s in my Bag’ videos and haven’t liked either so will give it another go soon, and you can then have a proper nose-around in my actual handbag.  But for now I’ll give you this, my going-out purse/clutch.  I’m not much of a club-all-night, every weekend type of girl anymore, after going out far too much during High School and first year out, I’m pretty much all partied out.  This is the definite downside of clubbing at 16, which is what everyone tells you then, but you think you’re smarter so you do it anyway.

Having said this, I do enjoy a good night of dancing, drinking and laughing.  So we did exactly that this last weekend and these are the staples in my Clubbing Clutch.

FYI : The clutch/bag I would usually take to a club is definitely not as nice as this one.  I’d take a regular small sling bag that could get drinks spilled on it and I wouldn’t want to cry & kill the drunk person.

NUMBER ONE: ID/Drivers License, because even though I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve been asked for an ID since I started going out at 16/17 I always feel the need to bring it, just incase.

NUMBER TWO: My iPhone 5s for when I get lost/separated from friends/actual emergencies.

NUMBER THREE: Bank card because how else would I buy drinks?  And to this you may say “well cash of course” but I’m not a fan of this because I say ‘I’ll only spend R100’ and then end up spending all my money, and I’ll wake up hella miserable.

NUMBER FOUR: Make-up bits because although its inevitable I get incredibly sweaty, from the dancing and lack of ventilation so I need all the mattifying products I can get my hands on.  Hence the MAC Studio Fix Powder and MAC 138 Brush as well as my touch-up lipstick which is the MAC Viva Glam GAGA 2 Amplified (which unfortunately is limited edition).

And lastly this is an old favourite that I actually bought for my matric dance, oh 5 years ago, and its a goody from Accessorize , so pretty and detailed.
