NEW IN: Essence Products

I’ve mentioned this in my videos but I don’t think I’ve said it over her on the blog.  This month, I’m dedicating the entire month to all things Drugstore (Clicks / Dischem).  I’ll be testing a few products and reviewing them over the course of November.   I’ll also be uploading drugstore related videos on my channel this month.

So if you’ve been asking for Drugstore alternatives to products or you just generally use products from the Drugstore this is your month!  So lets get into to this – last week Essence sent over a very generous package filled with all their new releases for this month.  It includes foundations, concealer and pretty much every makeup item that’s on trend at the moment.

I haven’t used all of these products so I don’t have many thoughts on them just yet.  I will be filming a review/hot or not video which I’ll upload onto my channel toward the end of this month, but until then here’s a little peak into what’s new.

[…] Essence Contouring Eyeshadow Set (R47,95):  This is a surprising one for me because I’m not really a fan of it on my eyes but one day decided to use it for regular face contour.  I obviously only use the darker, ashy, very cooled toned (almost grey) shade for contouring.  It can go bad really quickly so I use a very light hand with this product – seriously be careful because you can easily look like you have dirt on your face.  I find that bronzing my face and then just using this to deepen my cheekbones adds that little bit extra.
